Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a medically supervised program designed to improve the health and well-being of individuals with heart and lung conditions. After any necessary testing, insurance approval, and a thorough patient assessment process, out team will work with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that fits their specific needs. Combining monitored exercise training, breathing techniques, disease education, healthy weight management, airway clearance, nutrition education, smoking cessation, improvement of stamina and strength, and counseling to help patients reduce stress and improve their overall well-being. The supervised exercise program gradually increases patients' physical activity levels and reduces symptoms, improving their overall fitness and enhanced quality of life. They can engage in daily activities more easily. Some of the qualifying diagnoses include:

Indications for Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is an evidence-based intervention that has been shown to improve health outcomes and reduce mortality rates in patients with heart and lung conditions. It is an important part of the recovery process after a cardiac event or chronic lung disease diagnosis. Our goal is to help our patients regain their independence and feel confident in their day-to-day life. Even if the patient's goal is to be able to climb stairs, or carry their own groceries, we want to help them accomplish that. We want to help our patients get stronger, breathe easier, and return to the activities that they love.
