Senior Care Unit

Bradley County Medical Center is committed to supporting the community by offering a broad range of health care services, which includes the Senior Care Department. Senior Care is an inpatient short-term psychiatric program for persons who are 60 years of age and older, who are experiencing behavioral or emotional problems. Therapy and treatment plans are individually developed for each patient.

The unit contains eight beds, which keeps patient care at an individual level. Group therapies are provided and encouraged, as well as individual therapy. Socialization with fellow patients and visitors is also an important part of the Senior Care Program.

For more information or to make a confidential referral, please call Senior Care at 870.226.4361 or 1.800.868.7725. Professionals are available to provide a confidential courtesy assessment 24 hours per day. The Senior Care Department is under the direction of Lisa Hanson.
