EMERGENCY ROOM ENTRY DOOR CHANGES:
Bradley County Medical Center has made some changes to entry doors in an effort to enhance safety and security. ER Patients who are arrive by ambulance, and those who arrive by private vehicle and are non-ambulatory will continue to present to the glass doors at the ER driveway. Ambulance drivers have access with a badge. Those driving non-ambulatory patients to ER can use the doorbell to gain entry for the patient. ER patients who are ambulatory will use door at the ramp to be screened and registered.

BRADLEY STREET ENTRANCE:
The front door of the hospital on Bradley Street remains closed to the public.

SECURITY:
BCMC now has security officers on duty nights and weekends. The security officers will also serve as the screeners at the new ER registration desk.

VISITORS:
The No Patient Left Alone Act was recently signed into law in Arkansas. This act states that a patient be allowed one support person who is permitted to be physically present on a daily basis at reasonable times throughout his or her hospitalization. In accordance with this new law, BCMC will allow one support person per patient during normal visiting hours.



Visitors are asked to use the entrance at the Registration Office on west side of the hospital on Jolley Street. That door will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and not open on weekends. Weekend visitors and after hour visitors will use the new ER Registration entrance on Jolley Street at the ramp to be screened for entry.

Bradley County Medical Center reserves the right to limit or place visitor restrictions in certain situations including, but not limited to, when the presence of visitors would be medically or therapeutically harmful; interfere with the care or rights of any patient; visitors are engaging in violent, disruptive, or threatening behavior; or visitors are noncompliant with BCMC policy. Children under 12 are discouraged from visiting.

Bradley County Medical Center has lifted their mask mandate. Patients and visitors no longer have to wear a mask unless they are exhibiting signs and symptoms of COVID-19 or Influenza. Masks will be provided for those who want to wear one.

All hospital visitors will be screened using the current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines before they are permitted entry. Visitors that do not clear screening will not be allowed into the hospital. No one will be allowed in the building if they have a temperature of 100.4.
